I’ve tried just about every feeder out there, and this is what I’ve settled on as a hobbyist—commercial operations wouldn’t typically use this setup. It’s simple to use and works great for mixing sugar syrup, pollen, Honey-B-Healthy, and Amino-B Booster. There’s also space for pollen patties if you want to include them. I use a shallow box over the feeder with the outer cover on top.
What’s really nice is that I can swap out the jars early in the morning, before the bees are flying, without even putting on a bee suit. There’s no chance of robbing or contamination, they can feed in all weather, and I have zero dead bees. I can make these boards for 8-frame setups as well.
I sell them for $30 if you’re interested!
