Join us for an engaging presentation on Spring Colony Buildup with Mckaela Whilden, a PhD student at Washington State University under Dr. Priya Basu. Mckaela holds a Master’s in Agriculture from Mississippi State University and a Bachelor’s in Entomology from Texas A&M. A lifelong beekeeper, her research focuses on honey bee health, with her current work examining European foulbrood during blueberry pollination to support both bees and crop yields.

Whether you're a new or experienced beekeeper, you’ll gain practical tips on stimulating colony growth, managing hive resources, and preparing for the season ahead.
